I have worked in oil and gas land and title since 2011. I started as a land and title analyst, went on to work as a title and contracts attorney, and have handled work in the Permian Basin, the Williston Basin, and offshore, along with Utah, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Ohio.
Most of my work sits where old records meet new data. In a single week that can mean reading an 1843 federal land patent against the original township plat, pulling a Texas well's full production history from the Railroad Commission, and building a valuation model a mineral owner can actually follow.
Before Poolside, I co-founded a mineral acquisition company, where I handled deal sourcing, title evaluation, and acquisitions. That experience is why Poolside builds tools for the questions a buyer has to answer before making an offer.
Outside of work, I coach youth basketball, baseball, and soccer in Houston.
